Discover the charms of Lake Iseo, Bergamo, and Brescia on an exclusive group tour with a minimum of 30 participants, exploring breathtaking landscapes and historical treasures. Arrive in Iseo in the late morning, where your tour will begin with a private boat ride on the lake. During the boat tour, your tour guide will reveal the cultural and naturalistic aspects of the lake, taking you close to the private islands of Loreto and San Paolo, with a stop for lunch at Monteisola, Italy’s largest lake island. You can choose between a light lunch on the beach or a full meal tasting lake fish in a typical restaurant. After lunch, you will have free time to explore the picturesque hamlet of Peschiera Maraglio, before returning to the Brescian shore and continuing on to Bergamo, where you will stay in a 4-star hotel near the centre. The evening will be free to discover the city.

The second day starts with breakfast at the hotel, followed by a walk to the funicular to Bergamo Alta, an enchanting medieval town. The guided tour will take you on a discovery of the ancient cobbled streets, the Venetian walls, and the beautiful historic buildings. After a free lunch, in the afternoon the tour continues with a visit to a Franciacorta wine cellar, where you will learn about the history of this excellent wine-growing area, with a tasting of local wines. The day ends with a traditional dinner in a winery or farmhouse.

The third day will be dedicated to a visit to Brescia, where a tour guide will lead you to discover the historic centre, with its Roman and Renaissance monuments, including the Capitolium and the two cathedrals. The tour ends with a free visit to the Brescia Castle or the Santa Giulia Museum, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. A perfect experience for groups wishing to discover the historical and cultural heart of these fascinating cities.

Itinerary

Arrival in Iseo in the late morning. The tour starts from the lake of the same name, which is the meeting point between the provinces of Brescia and Bergamo.

From 11.30 a.m. tour of the lake with private boat service. The tour guide on board will tell you about the most interesting cultural and naturalistic aspects of Lake Iseo. During the navigation you will approach the private islands of Loreto and San Paolo and for lunch you will stop on Monteisola, the largest lake island in Italy.

Possibility of organising a light lunch on a private beach or a full lunch of lake fish in a typical restaurant.

After the meal you will have free time to explore the village of Peschiera Maraglio on your own.

At 4.00 p.m. we will take the private boat back to the Brescian shore.

Short transfer to Bergamo and check-in at a 4-star hotel near the centre. Dinner is at your leisure.

Depending on your preference, it is also possible to stay overnight in the city of Brescia or in Franciacorta.

In the morning, meet your guide at the hotel lobby and take a short walk to the funicular railway in città Alta, which has been connecting the two levels of the city for over 100 years. The climb is also possible on foot via romantic stone steps that climb up the sides of the hill.

From 10.00 a.m. to 12.00 p.m. there is a guided tour to discover Bergamo Alta, a medieval town with ancient cobbled streets, the Venetian walls all around and wonderful historical buildings overlooking Piazza Vecchia.

Lunch and afternoon free to visit the modern and elegant Lower Town on your own.

At about 5 p.m. transfer of about 30 minutes to a small Franciacorta wine cellar. Here you will be told about the history and evolution of this wine-growing area that has become an excellence for the production of classic method sparkling wines. The producer will tell you about the stages of the wine-making and ageing process and the special characteristics of this DOCG. The visit ends with a tasting of 2 wines and a small savoury accompaniment as an aperitif.

Dinner planned directly at the winery or at a nearby agriturismo with a traditional three-course menu, water, coffee and wine included.

Return to Bergamo and overnight stay.

Breakfast at the accommodation and check-out.

Transfer of approximately 40 minutes to reach the city of Brescia.

From 10.00 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. guided walking tour in the historical centre of Brescia. Through its squares and monuments you will experience a journey back in time from the Roman remains of the Capitolium, to the Renaissance Piazza Loggia and the modernity of Piazza Vittoria in the style of the Fascist dictatorship. Brescia is unique with two cathedrals: the Duomo Vecchio and the Duomo Nuovo, both of which are accessible free of charge during the tour.

The tour ends with lunch at your leisure, you can choose from the many restaurants and bars that populate the streets of the centre.

In the afternoon, if interested, it is possible to organise a visit to Brescia Castle or to the Museum of Santa Giulia, a Unesco site together with the Archaeological Park of the Capitolium and the Basilica of San Salvatore.
