Pick-up is arranged directly hotel in Bergamo in a luxury car or minivan with private driver and reach the vineyards of Franciacorta, one of Italy’s most famous wine-producing areas for classic method sparkling wines, in about 40 minutes.
During the tour you will visit two selected wineries: a small family-run business and a premium winery. It might be a renowed winery or a charming boutique winery. Each stop at a winery includes a tasting of fine wines.
The tour includes a stop for free time in Iseo, where you can enjoy a lovely walk along the lakefront and shop in the village’s stores.
The excursion begins with pick-up at your hotel at 10:00 a.m. and ends with return to Bergamo in the late afternoon, at approximately 4:30 p.m.

Departure from Bergamo
At 9:50 a.m., your private driver will pick you up directly at your hotel in Bergamo. Aboard a comfortable, air-conditioned minivan or car, you will travel to the nearby wine region of Franciacorta, known worldwide for its classic method sparkling wines, a symbol of Italian excellence.
First stopover: a family-run winery
The day begins with a visit to a small winery, where you can meet the producer and learn about the stages of Franciacorta production.
You will discover the secrets of the classic method and the history of this extraordinary territory.
The visit ends with a tasting of two Franciacorta DOCG wines, accompanied by stories and interesting facts about the world of Lombardy sparkling wines.
Second stopover: Iseo hamlet
During the lunch break, from approximately 12:00 to 14:00, there will be a stop at Lake Iseo to explore the medieval village of Iseo on your own. Let yourself be enchanted by the lake scenery while enjoying a nice relaxing walk.
Here you will find cosy bars and cafés where you can eat and lovely shops where you can do some shopping. If you would like to include a typical lunch in the tour, please indicate your interest in the notes field when booking.
Third stopover: a premium winery
In the afternoon, you will visit a premium Franciacorta winery, renowned for the quality of its wines and the evocative architecture of its vinification and ageing rooms.
During the visit, you will see the processing areas, the machinery used in the process and the underground ageing cellar, where the bottles rest for months or years.
The experience will end in the tasting room, where you will taste three selected Franciacorta wines, expressing the philosophy and excellence of the brand.
Way back to Bergamo
After a day spent enjoying wine, nature and food and wine culture, your private driver will take you back to Bergamo in the late afternoon.

Guided visit at wineries might be shared with other guests. The small groups accept maximum 10/15 guests in total.
