A fascinating group experience to discover the natural, historical and wine-growing beauty of the lower Lake Garda area, ideal for groups with a minimum of 20 participants. Arrival in the area by coach or minibus, depending on the size of the group, and start of the tour at 10.00 a.m. at a niche winery, where the reception staff will introduce you to the soil and climate characteristics of the Brescian shore of Lake Garda, the morainic hills and the Lugana and Valtenesi areas. The tour will continue in the wine-making and ageing rooms, with an in-depth look at the wine production process, from harvesting to labelling. The visit will end with a tasting of three wines accompanied by a small savoury pairing.
Afterwards, we will continue to an agritourism for a traditional three-course lunch with a local wine pairing.
In the afternoon, departure by bus to Sirmione. At 3.00 p.m. a 1.5-hour boat tour with private boat and tour guide on board will begin. You will sail along the beautiful peninsula of Sirmione, passing by the Rocca di Manerba, the Island of San Biagio, and reach the enchanting Isola del Garda. If you wish, it will be possible to organise an aperitif on board to toast in front of the beautiful island. At the end of the navigation, return to Sirmione for free time to explore the village and the Scaliger Castle.
At the end of the tour, return to the starting point. A complete experience combining history, nature and gastronomy in one of the most fascinating places in Italy.
Arrival in the lower Lake Garda area by coach or minibus depending on the size of the group.
The tour starts at approximately 10 a.m. at a niche winery where you will have a visit and wine tasting. The reception staff will give you an introduction to the soil and climate characteristics of the Brescian shore of Lake Garda and the moraine hills that form a fundamental part of the Lugana and Valtenesi areas.
The tour continues in the wine-making and ageing rooms where you will be told about the production process from the grape harvest to labelling. The cellar tour ends with a tasting of three wines with a small savoury pairing.
At the end, transfer to a farmhouse for a traditional lunch with a 3-course menu and wine pairing.
Back on the bus we will reach Sirmione by 15.00. Boat tour lasting 1 ½ hours with a private boat and tour guide on board. You will sail along the Sirmione peninsula to admire it in all its splendour. You will continue northwards, passing by the Rocca di Manerba and the tiny island of San Biagio before reaching the beautiful Isola del Garda. Possibility of organising an aperitif on board for a toast in front of the Island. Return to Sirmione and free time to explore the village with its castle on your own.
End of tour and return.
The price “from” is approximate. On request we will prepare a quote with specific dates and based on a minimum/maximum number of participants that the group leader or agency of reference will communicate to us.
The details of the itinerary with timing, names of the wineries and the accommodation facility will be agreed with the group contact person.
Pets are not allowed in most of the facilities and wineries included in the tour, please inform us of your request during the availability check.
List of participants with rooming list and indication of special dietary requirements, such as intolerances and allergies, must be communicated to the staff at least 10 days prior to arrival.
