Discover the beauty of Valdadige with an experience that combines tradition, nature and gastronomy.
You will arrive by yourself in the valley, where you will be welcomed by selected 3-star hotels or typical farmhouses, with the option of staying in the city of Trento. Your adventure begins with a traditional dinner, where you can enjoy typical dishes such as Canederli, meat stew with polenta and strudel, all accompanied by local wine
The following day, you will visit a wine cooperative, where you can learn about the history of local viticulture and taste fine wines, from reds to fresh sparkling wines. You will then have the rest of the day free to explore Lake Caldaro, the historic centre of Trento or enjoy outdoor activities such as cycling or hiking among apple orchards and vineyards.
The evening will be free, but we will be happy to recommend the best places in the area. On the last day, you will visit a family-run winery, where you can enjoy a more intimate experience and discover niche wines, before ending your stay with a visit to Bolzano or Riva del Garda, if you wish to continue your adventure. Immerse yourself in the traditions and nature of this land, on a journey that stimulates all the senses.
Our food and wine weekend package in Trento will allow you to discover the best of this wonderful area and, above all, to enjoy it at your own pace, in complete freedom.
Arrival in Adige Valley on your own with your car or hire car. You will be free to arrive at the time you prefer.
Check-in at the hotel, depending on availability and what was agreed upon during the itinerary organisation phase, accommodation will be in a 3-star hotel or traditional farmhouse. Possibility to arrange the stay directly in Trento city center if you like.
The first dinner is included in the package and provided directly at the accommodation restaurant or in a typical restaurant nearby. The menu includes a tasting of 3 traditional courses with drinks included: water, coffee and a bottle of local wine for every 2 people. You will taste typical dishes such as Canederli (dumplings), with butter or in broth, meat stew with polenta and the classic strudel to end on a sweet note.

In the morning, visit to a large social wine cellar. The reception staff will give you an introduction to the history and development of this area, which has always been a wine-growing area. Red varieties are produced here, but also excellent white wines, both still and sparkling, which find great freshness and elegance at the foot of the Dolomites.
The tour continues in the winemaking and wine ageing rooms, where you will be told about the production process from harvesting to labelling. The cellar tour ends with a tasting of three wines and a small savoury pairing.
The rest of the day is free at your disposal to explore the area. You can travel to nearby Lake Caldaro or to the city of Trento to visit the picturesque historic centre and Buonconsiglio Castle. The Valdadige is the ideal place for outdoor sports enthusiasts, take advantage of the dedicated cycling or hiking trails through a wonderful alternation of apple orchards and vineyards.

Return to your accommodation and overnight stay.

In the morning, visit a small family-run winery. Here you can experience the producer's passion at first hand and learn more about the special characteristics of niche wineries. The winery experience ends with a tasting of 2 wines with a small savoury snack.
End of services and return on your own. Possibility of continuing the day by visiting the city of Bolzano or Riva del Garda on the way down south.
The details of the wineries and the accommodation will be communicated one month prior to arrival in the itinerary organization phase. Specifically, you will be given a selection of ⅔ wineries by type in order to customize the tour to your preferences.
Pets are not allowed in most of the accommodation and wineries included in the tour, please contact us to check availability before booking.
