Your New Year’s Eve on Lake Garda begins with your independent arrival in the southern Lake Garda area – one of the most picturesque spots in the Lugana morainic hills – and your check-in at an elegant and welcoming Relais featuring a wine spa. Check-in is available from 2.00 pm.
In the afternoon, a short drive in your own car to the Relais’s own winery, where a guided tour of the winery is scheduled for 4.00 pm, followed by a tasting of three wines accompanied by a selection of typical Mantua specialities.
An introduction to the local flavours and wines, the perfect way to kick off an experience centred on food, wine and relaxation.
End of the wine tasting and drive back to the accommodation.
Dinner at your leisure and overnight stay.
The day begins with a buffet breakfast at the Relais.
The morning is free and can be spent relaxing or exploring the local area. You can go for a walk in the surrounding area or head to Lake Garda.
About a 25-minute drive away lies Desenzano del Garda, an elegant town overlooking the lake, whilst Sirmione is about 20 minutes away; it is famous for its charming historic centre and the Scaligero Castle, one of the symbols of Lake Garda. On request, we’d be happy to recommend some of our favourite restaurants in the area for lunch or a culinary break.
In the afternoon, there’ll be a new wine-tasting experience: at 2.00 pm, you’ll head to a boutique winery, situated about an 18-minute drive from the Relais, for a tour with a guided tasting of five wines. The experience will finish by around 4.00 pm, leaving you plenty of time to return, relax and get ready for the most eagerly awaited evening of the year.

From 8.00 pm, the celebrations continue on the premises with the New Year’s Eve dinner.
A tasting menu is provided, with drinks included: water, coffee and a bottle of local wine per couple. The evening will be accompanied by pleasant background music and will continue with a dance, so that we can all raise a glass together to welcome in the New Year.

Overnight stay.
The first day of the year is all about wellbeing and rest.
After breakfast, you can treat yourself to a rejuvenating break at the Relais’ Wine Spa, with a 4-hourtreatment.
You can book asession starting at 10.30 am or 2.30 pm. Abathrobe and towel will be provided for the experience.
The Wine Spa features a saltwater pool heated to around 31°C, a sauna, a Turkish bath, sensory showers and relaxation areas: everything you need to start the new year feeling calm and revitalised.
After the Wine Spa, you’ll have some free time to continue the day in complete relaxation.
Dinner at your leisure and overnight stay.
After breakfast, please check out by 10.00.
The rest of the day is yours to organise your return journey at your leisure or to make the most of your final hours i the area and visit some of the most interesting places within easy reach of the Relais.
You can choose to spend a few hours on Lake Garda, return to Desenzano, visit Brescia or head to Verona.
And so your New Year’s stay on Lake Garda comes to an end – an experience combining wine, fine dining and wellness.

Yes, the tour will be rearranged with check-in on 31 December, and the first winery visit scheduled for 30 December will be rescheduled for you on 2 January at 10.00.
