Pick-up is arranged directly from your hotel in Bergamo in a luxury car or minivan, and the private transfer to the Franciacorta vineyards takes around 40 minutes. .
During the tour, you will visit two carefully selected wineries: a small family-run estate and a premium winery, which may be a renowned estate or a charming boutique winery. Each stop at a winery includes an exclusive guided tour and a tasting of fine wines.
For lunch, you will stop at a farmhouse restaurant or osteria for a light lunch featuring local produce and recipes.
The excursion begins with pick-up at your hotel at 10:00 a.m. and ends with return to Bergamo in the late afternoon, at approximately 4:30 p.m.

Departure from Bergamo
At 9.50 am, you will be picked up from your hotel. Travelling in a comfortable, air-conditioned minivan or car, you will head to the nearby Franciacorta wine region, known throughout the world for its classical method sparkling wines, a symbol of Italian excellence.
First stopover: a family-run winery
The day begins with a private tour of a small winery, where you’ll meet the winemaker and gain an in-depth understanding of the stages involved in producing Franciacorta.
You’ll discover the secrets of the classic method and the history of this extraordinary region.
The tour concludes with a tasting of two Franciacorta DOCG wines, accompanied by stories and interesting facts about the world of Lombardy’s sparkling wines.
Second stopover: light lunch
During the lunch break, we’ll stop at a traditional restaurant where we’ll be served a set menu comprising a selection of shared starters, a main course of your choice and a dessert. Water and coffee are included.
Third stopover: a premium winery
In the afternoon, you will visit a premium Franciacorta winery, renowned for the quality of its wines and the striking architecture of its winemaking and ageing cellars.
During the tour, you’ll see the production areas, the machinery used in the winemaking process and the underground ageing cellar, where the bottles are left to rest for months or years.
The experience will conclude in the tasting room, where you’ll sample three selected Franciacorta wines, which embody the brand’s philosophy and excellence.
Way back to Bergamo
After a day spent enjoying wine, nature and food and wine culture, your private driver will take you back to Bergamo in the late afternoon.

All vehicles are brand new Mercedes, Audi or BMW with al comfort to guarantee guests an elegant, relaxed and punctual travel experience.
A sedan car/SUV will be used for bookings of 2–3 people. For bookings of 1–3 guests, the transfer service may be provided on a ‘drive and guide’ basis using a Gourmantic vehicle.
