Your New Year’s Eve on Lake Garda begins with your independent arrival in Desenzano, the most populous town on Lake Garda, with its beautiful lakeside promenade and Christmas lights. Check-in at your 4-star superior hotel is available from 2.00 pm, and you will be accommodated in a superior room with a small balcony and a view of the garden.
The day is free for travelling and exploring the village of Desenzano. A bit of relaxation before the party.
New Year’s Eve dinner
From8.00 pm, the celebrations continue on the premises with the New Year’s Eve dinner.
A seafood and fish tasting menu will be served. Drinks are not included and must be paid for on the night. The evening will feature musical entertainment provided by a DJ as we celebrate the arrival of the New Year together.

Anyone wishing to continue the celebrations can head to Piazza Matteotti, where there is usually a stage with DJs playing until late at night.

A hearty breakfast at the accommodation, followed by a free day to relax.
If you’d like to relax to the full, we recommend booking your own visit to the nearby Sirmione thermal baths or the QC Terme del Garda spa, both of which are a 25-minute drive from Desenzano.

A morning dedicated to exploring the Lugana wine region and its wines, renowned for the production of still white and rosé wines. It covers the entire southern shore of Lake Garda, roughly from Desenzano to Peschiera. The winery we have selected for you is located in Sirmione, where, from 10.30 am, you can take part in a guided tour of the winemaking facilities and taste four of the winery’s wines, accompanied by a small selection of local specialities.
Lunch and the rest of the afternoon are free for you to return to Desenzano or head to Verona to visit the historic centre at its most beautiful time of year, with the Christmas lights and the giant comet next to the Arena.

A day at your leisure to travel back home; alternatively, depending on which direction you’re heading, you could stop off in Brescia or take the opportunity to visit other villages on Lake Garda, such as Salò, Peschiera del Garda or Lazise.
